Hedra publishes seven shapes including both ultrawides
The Character-3 page lists 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 9:21 and 21:9. Twenty-one by nine appears on three entries in this register; nine by twenty-one appears on this one alone, which makes the list the widest range of shapes published anywhere on these sheets. As of 2026-09-22.
| Group | Values | Appearances elsewhere in this register |
|---|---|---|
| Broadcast and square | 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1 | Common to several entries |
| Horizontal ultrawide | 21:9 | Three other entries |
| Vertical ultrawide | 9:21 | None |
Inclusion rule. Ratios this model page publishes for Character-3, grouped by how often the same value appears elsewhere in this register. Figures for the vendor's other models are not carried. Order. Most common group first, then the two outliers.
1A vertical ultrawide has no placement here and a real use
No surface this register reads states nine by twenty-one. What uses it is the frame inside a frame: a very tall strip that survives heavy interface overlay at top and bottom, or a panel in a designed layout rather than a full-screen ad.
The register records it because the shape column is a record of what can be generated, not of what a placement demands. A shape that exists on one page and nowhere else is the kind of fact a plan discovers late if nobody wrote it down.
2Seven shapes beside a ten minute ceiling
The same page publishes a maximum duration of ten minutes and three resolution rungs, with no condition tying any list to another. So every combination multiplies out: a square 540p piece of any length up to the ceiling, or an ultrawide 1080p one.
Among the entries in this register that publish a shape list at all, this is the only one where a very long run and an unusual shape are both available without a stated condition. Whether the corners were tested is not something the page says.
3What a long shape list is worth for a campaign
Short-form advertising is normally one idea cut for several surfaces. Where the shapes exist as generation parameters, each cut is generated in its own frame; where they do not, the cuts are crops from a master and the subject drifts towards the edge.
Seven values means the crop step can be skipped entirely for every surface this register reads. That is the practical value of this cell, and it holds whether or not a presenter performance is the right form for the brief.
