Ad placement specs against what generators output

Fitting Hedra output into YouTube ad formats

Hedra publishes a ten minute ceiling for Character-3, three resolutions and seven aspect ratios. Every YouTube format in this register fits inside one call, which makes it one of the few rows here where the length column stops being the interesting one. As of 2026-09-22.

Where a ten minute ceiling puts the problemEvery ad format in this register runs under sixty seconds, against a published ceiling of ten minutes. So the length column stops being the constraint on this row and the seven published shapes become the thing worth reading.Settled before the briefLengthTen minutes published; the longest format asks for oneShapeSeven ratios, including both of the extreme onesFileNo size, no bitrate, no container namedStill open at upload

2A ceiling nothing on the placement side reaches

Ten minutes against a sixty second maximum is not a close comparison, and the sheet says so rather than pretending the arithmetic is informative. What the figure actually tells a buyer is what kind of tool this is: length is governed by the performance being driven, so the ceiling is set where a performance stops being plausible rather than where a model runs out.

The consequence for advertising is that the join problem disappears from this row entirely. There is no assembly step to budget, no continuity to hold across separately generated shots, and no decision about where the cuts fall, because the piece arrives as one take.

3Seven ratios, including both extreme shapes

1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 9:21 and 21:9 is one of the longer lists in this register, and it includes both of the extreme shapes. That is worth noting on a site whose recurring finding is that shape is the spec most often left off a vendor page: here it is the best documented column on the row.

What the page does not address is the file. No size, no bitrate, no container, which leaves the same gap that every vendor page in this register leaves, and it is the gap a platform upload form actually checks.

Output limits read from the Character-3 model page at hedra.com, checked 2026-09-22. Format requirements are from Google Ads Help, and the matching rule is on method. Next along the register: HeyGen, LTX-Video. The whole set of 15 is on published limits, and the sheets for each are indexed at tools.
