Wan 3.0 publishes an integer range to thirty
The API reference states duration as an integer in the range two to thirty seconds, and adds that input plus output must not exceed thirty. On a text prompt the full range is available; on a conditioning video the two share one allowance. As of 2026-09-22.
| Statement | Value | When it binds |
|---|---|---|
| Duration parameter | An integer in [2, 30] | Always |
| Combined rule | Input plus output must not exceed 30 seconds | Only when a video is supplied as input |
| Returned output | A video URL valid for 24 hours | After the job completes |
Inclusion rule. Statements in this API reference that bear on how long a single request runs or how long its result remains available. Figures for other models on the same platform are not recorded. Order. The parameter, then the rule that qualifies it, then what comes back.
1Thirty seconds, in whole seconds, with no tier attached
This is the widest unconditional range in the column for a prompt-driven generator. Any whole value from two to thirty, at any of the three published resolutions, with no model identifier and no reference-image requirement standing between a brief and its length.
Against the formats that exist it covers three of six outright and puts the sixty second non-skippable at two calls. One join is the floor for this class of tool, and it is the difference between an edit and a repair job.
2The combined rule turns a ceiling into an allowance
Input plus output not exceeding thirty is a different kind of constraint from a ceiling. Extending an existing eighteen second piece leaves twelve seconds of new material, and the figure a shot list was written against has become a remainder.
That only bites on the video-conditioned path, which is also the path most likely to be used for continuity across a long placement. So the rule is quietest exactly where it costs the most, and it belongs in the same row as the range rather than in a footnote.
3A twenty-four hour URL is part of the specification
The reference states that the result comes back as a URL valid for a day. That is not a length figure and it governs the same job: a piece not fetched inside the window has to be generated again, at full cost.
For a campaign built from many short pieces the handling is the risk rather than the generation. Two rows in this register publish a disappearance clock and the rest publish nothing, so on this axis silence is the normal case and this figure is the exception worth reading.

Inclusion rule. Every generator with a row in this register, carrying whatever its own page states as a length. A page that states none keeps its row and says so. Order. Alphabetical by generator name.
